Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Outstanding Warrants, Failing to Attend Court, Indecent Acts, Uttering Threats and Assault (No Name Given)

A 37-year-old Cobourg woman faces charges after police are called to a business Sunday.

On Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 12:10 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a business near Covert Street and Division Street in Cobourg. Staff reported an individual threatened staff when asked to vacate the property.

Police identified a person of interest matching the description provided. Through police investigation, it was learned that the woman was wanted on outstanding warrants held by the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result, a 37-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with failing to attend, indecent acts, uttering threats, and assault with intent to resist arrest.

The accused was released on an Undertaking with an impending court date.
