Join Northumberland EarlyON Child and Family Centres for Free Family Fun this March Break

Northumberland EarlyON Child and Family Centres are offering a full week of free family programming during March Break, where families can play, learn and explore together.

Families with young children are invited to attend the following programs, located throughout Northumberland County:

· Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.— Join us at Brighton Library with EarlyON’s Indigenous Team to experience a drumming circle together.

· Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. — Explore the Brighton Fire Station. *Registration required

· Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10 a.m. — Go on a family hike with EarlyON’s Indigenous Team and take in the wonders of the Northumberland County Forest.

· Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 10-11:30 a.m. — Explore Sandy Flat Sugar Bush, the making of maple syrup and the Indigenous origins of how it was made.

· Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. — ‘Sing into Spring’ with Mary Lambert, Juno Award Nominee and children’s entertainer, at the Hastings Civic Centre. Sing along during this fun, interactive performance, filled with dance and music about spring as well as colourful costumes and props.

· Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10-11:30 a.m. — Visit Hastings Field House for some fun, engaging active time.

· Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 1 p.m. — Explore Old Mill Alpacas and meet some furry friends. *Registration required

· Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10-11:30 a.m. — Explore Haute Goat Farm and meet some furry friends.

· Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10 a.m. — Explore the Campbellford Fire Station. *Registration required
