Durham Regional Police – Search Warrant Executed Under the Cannabis Act (Names Released)

Five males are facing charges after police executed a search warrant under the Cannabis Act in Uxbridge.

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, members from the Drug Enforcement Unit along with the Gun and Gang Unit executed a search warrant on Regional Road 1 after receiving information that several hundred cannabis plants were being grown on the property. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized 291 large cannabis plants and five males were taken into custody.

Artur ZHEVNER, age 27, of Uxbridge, was charged with: Unauthorized Production of Cannabis and Possess Illicit Cannabis.

David COX, age 35, of Scarborough, was charged with: Unauthorized Production of Cannabis and Possess Illicit Cannabis.

Stas MANSYVODA, age 30, of Uxbridge, was charged with: Unauthorized Production of Cannabis and Possess Illicit Cannabis.

Artem KOTENKO, age 27, of Uxbridge, was charged with: Unauthorized Production of Cannabis and Possess Illicit Cannabis.

Jevgenijs ZORINS, age 38, of Uxbridge, was charged with: Unauthorized Production of Cannabis and Possess Illicit Cannabis.

All parties were released on an Undertaking.
