Peterborough County OPP – Looking for Assistance in Identifying Suspect

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle theft suspect.

Officers responded to a vehicle theft complaint on July 29, 2022 at approximately 1:00pm. The complainant reported that their grey 2008 Chevrolet Uplander minivan bearing Ontario marker CHZP699 and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 1GNDV23W08D165640 was stolen from the parking lot of the Selwyn Outreach Centre located at 2686 Lakefield Road on July 22, 2022 at 3:44am. A female suspect was captured on video surveillance. (See attached photos)

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the Peterborough OPP at 705-742-0401, the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to Crime Stoppers.
