Durham Regional Police – Chihuahua Recoved After Police Stop Stolen Vehicle (Name Released…of Suspect)

A 28-year-old male is facing numerous charges after police stop a stolen vehicle in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at approximately 3:20 a.m., members from Central East Division became aware of a stolen vehicle in the area of Olive Avenue and Wilson Road.  Officers were able to successfully follow the vehicle and have it come to a stop a short distance away.  The driver was placed into custody and a Chihuahua named Lulu was located inside.  Lulu was inside the vehicle when it was stolen and is in the process of being reunited with the owner.

Patrick BURKE, age 28 of Toronto, is facing numerous charges, which include Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under and Driving While Under Suspension.

 

He was released on an Undertaking.
