NORTHUMBERLAND – On Friday, August 26th 2022, YMCA Northumberland will hold the Strong Kids Duathlon at Centennial Pool and Victoria Park in Cobourg. Children ages 3-15 are invited to particpate.

YMCA Northumberland’s Strong Kids Duathlon raises funds to ensure the YMCA continues to strengthen our communities through programs focused on improving health and well-being throughout Northumberland County.

This family friendly, child focused duathlon is attended and sponsored by many Northumberland families and businesses bringing together like minded community supporters to raise awareness and funds to support YMCA Strong Communities Campaign.

“The Strong Kids Duathlon provides an opportunity for children to engage in friendly competition, while family, friends and YMCA Staff and Volunteers cheer them on. The event also helps bring awareness to YMCA Northumberland’s Strong Communities Campaign.” says Eunice Kirkpatrick, Chief Executive Officer, YMCA Northumberland.

“We are back at the beautiful Cobourg waterfront, it is sure to be a great event. The funds raised go directly to providing access to critical YMCA Programs and Services that help everyone reach their potential.”
