Cobourg Police – Mischief, Cause Distrubance (No Name Released)

Man charged with mischief after police responded to a call for a disturbance downtown Cobourg.

On June 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., police were called to a property on King Street West in Cobourg for a report of a disturbance.

As a result of the police investigation, a 24-year-old Cobourg man was arrested for causing a disturbance and mischief. The man was charged with the following offences:

1. Causing a Disturbance contrary to section 145(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

2. Mischief Under $5,000.00 contrary to section 430(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The man was released on an Undertaking with a future court date scheduled for July 13, 2022.
