Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Assault

On April 17, 2022, police attended an address in the north end of Cobourg after receiving a report of a domestic-related assault. As a result of the police investigation, a 34-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1. Two counts of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, contrary to Section 267 of the Criminal Code

The man was remanded into custody with a future court date.

The name of the accused will not be released to protect the victim’s identity.
