Cobourg Police – Bewdley Man Facing Three Criminal Charges (No Name Released)

On Thursday, April 14, 2022, the Cobourg Police Service was contacted by the Port Hope Police, who located a man currently wanted on three outstanding warrants with the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result, the 39-year-old Bewdley man was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1. Operation while prohibited contrary to section 320.18 of the Criminal Code

2. Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

3. Fail to comply with Appearance notice contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code

The man was released on an undertaking with a court date of May 25, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.
