Municipality of Brighton Adheres to Provincial Restrictions

As of January 5, 2022, at 12:01 am, The Municipality of Brighton will adhere to provincial restrictions and the Step 2 protocols within the province of Ontario.
The below operational changes within the Municipality of Brighton will take effect from Jan. 5/22.
– Jan. 27/22

• King Edward Park Arena/Community Centre is closed

• Municipality of Brighton Public Library will operate at 50% capacity

• Public Works Sharp Road facility remains open to the public

• Municipality of Brighton Alice Street facility remains open to the public

• Fire Hall Brighton Station One remains open to the public

• Codrington Hall – Closed

• Curling Club- Closed

• Council/Committee Meetings -Virtual

• Dog Park – open subject to COVID protocols

Staff are working diligently to prepare outdoor skating rinks at King Edward Park and Codrington Hall for participants to enjoy at a gathering limit of 10 people.

Public health protocols will be implemented, including screening upon entry to all our facilities.
