Municipality of Brighton 2022 Levee Cancelled

In Upcoming Events

Due to the rising COIVD-19 case numbers, increased transmissibility of the Omicron variant, and out of interest for our community’s health, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 Levee set to take place on January 1, 2022.

Mayor Brian Ostrander is disappointed that this decision had to be made but knows that it was the right one.

“I was very much looking forward to greeting everyone at our New Year’s Levee on January 1st! However, with rising case counts and with an abundance of caution it is appropriate to cancel our levee again this year. I wish everyone the best for 2022 and will be sure to post a New Year’s greeting video”
