School Bus Driver Facing Highway Traffic Act Charge After Collision in Cobourg

One bus driver is facing a charge under the Highway Traffic Act after two busses collided in Cobourg on Monday, November 29, 2021.

Shortly before 3 p.m. two busses were travelling southbound on D’Arcy Street.

One of busses was turning left onto King Street East and the side mirror struck the side mirror of the bus beside causing the front window to break.

The one bus driver was charged with fail to turn out to left to avoid collision.

There were no students on either bus.
