Cobourg Police Reminds Everyone to Stay Safe This Halloween

In Community, Police Blotter

Police will be out in the community to help ensure everyone has a great night – They will also have treats for all the trick or treaters!

Halloween is nearly upon us, and the Cobourg Police Service (CPS) wants to remind everyone to plan for a safe night. Constables, Special Constables, and Auxiliary members will be out in
the community conducting additional patrols to help ensure everyone has a great night. They will also have treats for all the costumed kiddies!

Soon mini marvels and macabre monsters with be making their way around town in search of sweets, and CPS is one of the places they can stop. Our members will not only be handing out candy at the station (107 King Street West) throughout the day for any kids who stop by, but many of our officers on patrol will also have tasty treats for the children they meet. So, if you see an officer, be sure to give them a wave and say hello and they may have something to add to your candy stash.
