Cobourg Police Investigating After A Number of Election Signs Damaged

Cobourg Police are investigating after a number of election signs were damaged.

On Friday, August 20, 2021 a number of election signs were found damaged along William Street, just north of King Street in Cobourg.

The damage is believed to have happened sometime after 11 p.m. on Thursday evening.

It appears a sharp instrument, possibly a box cutter was used to cut and destroy the signs on both sides of the roadway.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cobourg Police or CrimeStoppers.
