Peterborough County OPP – Driver Injured in ATV Collision

(NORTH KAWARTHA TOWNSHIP, ON)– Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on McCauley’s Road at approximately 11:30pm on August 6, 2021. 

An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) carrying two male parties had come into contact with a tree. The driver of the ATV was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. 

The passenger was not injured. Members of the OPP trained in collision reconstruction attended to measure and document the scene. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
