Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Unauthorized Use of Credit Card

A woman has been arrested after a wallet was reported stolen.

On June 13, 2021, a wallet was reported stolen from a residence in Cobourg, in which a bank card was
subsequently used to make purchases from multiple variety stores.

On July 14, 2021, as a result of the ensuing police investigation, 22-year-old Grace Edwards of Cobourg is
charged with the following offences.

Unauthorized use of credit card data contrary to Section 342(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Possession of property obtained by crime contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Edwards was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
