Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance

On July 7, 2021, police received a report of an individual walking into traffic near Elgin Street and Ontario
Street in the Town of Cobourg.

Police located the individual, and further investigation revealed that the person was in possession of a
suspected controlled substance.

As a result, Michael Miller, a 43-year-old man from the Town of Colborne, was charged with the following
offence:

Possession of a controlled substance contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The accused was released on an appearance notice with a future court date.
