Update – Northumberland OPP – Tanker Truck Driver Charged with Impaired Driving

(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 6th, 2021 around 09:36 a.m., members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint from a motorist with respect to a tanker truck that was being driven erratically on Highway 401 west bound, approaching Grafton.

A member of the OPP located the tanker truck and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

Manjinder BRAR (age 6 3) of Brampton was subsequently arrested and charged with the following offences:

Operation while impaired by alcohol

Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7th, 2021.
