Cobourg Fire Department Attends Brush Fire

Members of the Cobourg Fire Department attended a brush fire on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

At approximately 5:10 p.m. firefighters responded to the area of Ontario Street by the railway tracks near Sutherland Crescent.

It appears a pile of debris and wood was intentionally set on fire.

Firefighters carrying water packs and extinguishers doused the fire.

If anyone has any information regarding the fire they are asked to call Cobourg Police.
