In Police Blotter

One person was taken into custody following a collision in Hamilton Township on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. emergency services responded to a vehicle in a farmers field on Crossen Road just west of Harwood Road north of Baltimore.

Northumberland OPP said they had received two calls of erratic driving of a vehicle matching the same description.

The vehicle was heading south on Harwood Road when it crossed into oncoming lanes and onto the shoulder striking two mailboxes just north of Turk Road before continuing south where it turned right onto Crossen Road and into the field.

It appears at least one of the occupants were changing the front drivers side tired that may have been damaged from the collision.

A passenger was taken to hospital suffering from a possible medical distress and the driver was arrested at the scene.

Northumberland OPP are investigating.
