Northumberland OPP Investigating Fatal UTV Collision North of Campbellford

A 57-year-old woman was killed when a utility terrain vehicle rolled on top of her on Sunday, April 25, 2021 north of Campbellford.


At approximately 5:20 p.m. a woman and her husband were working in front of their property on Crowe River Road, north of Pethericks Corners at the 11th Line when the utility vehicle the woman was driving rolled on top of the woman.


The woman had to be extricated from the overturned utv. She was rushed to Campbellford Memorial Hospital but was pronounced deceased.


Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were dispatched to the scene to help determine how the collision happened.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members attended the location to conduct an investigation and a post mortem examination will be conducted on Monday, April 26th 2021 at the Ontario Coroner’s Office in Kingston.
