Quinte West OPP – Mischief at Quinte West Marina

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a mischief occurrence involving a barge that was untied from the dock in Fraser Park Marina in Trenton.

Between Friday December 4, 2020, and Monday December 7, 2020, an unknown person(s) attended Fraser Park Marina, located on Fraser Park Drive in Trenton, and untied a 40 foot by 60 foot (12 meters by 18 meters) barge that was docked at the lo cation. The barge was later recovered adrift in the Bay of Quinte with minimal damage. This is the second similar incident in the last two months.

Any person with information that could help identify the suspect(s), or assist with the investigation should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
