Northumberland OPP – Three Drivers Charged With Stunt Driving In Hamilton Township

Three drivers were charged with stunt driving in Hamilton Township on Monday, December 7, 2020.

The two of the drivers were clocked at 160 kph along Highway 401 and the third driver was clocked at 157 kph travelling eastbound just east of Theatre Road.

Two of the three drivers charged with Novice G-2 drivers.

It’s the second time a 23-year-old Colborne man was charged with stunt driving.

Along with the driver and an adult passenger was a young child in the vehicle that was clocked at 157 kph (in photos) being driven by a driver with a Novice G2 license.

All vehicles were towed from the scenes and impounded for seven days along. Each driver’s license was also suspended for seven days. The minimum set fine for stunt driving is $2,000.
