No Parking in the Market Building Lot due to the Cobourg Farmers’ Market

In City Hall

The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that beginning this Saturday there will be no parking in the Market Building municipal parking lot behind Victoria Hall between 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Beginning Saturday, November 7, 2020, the Cobourg Farmers Market will relocate from the “oval” in Cobourg Rotary Harbourfront Park to the Market Building Parking Lot for the remainder of the year. The Market will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday until December 19, 2020.

The parking lot must remain clear on Saturday mornings to allow time for vendor set up and tear down, and possible snow plowing operations. Vehicles that remain in the parking lot starting at 7:00 a.m. will be ticketed and/or towed. Parking will resume at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Signage has been posted in the parking lot to advise residents.
