Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Assault

A man has been arrested for assault after an altercation in the downtown area.

On October 31st, 2020, at approximately 11:30 pm, Cobourg police responded to an assault in downtown Cobourg after a woman reported having been punched in the face by a male acquaintance, resulting in minor injuries.

As a result of the police investigation, 51-Year-old Bradley Grundy of Cobourg is charged with Assault contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released from custody on an Undertaking with a pending court date.
