Head-On Collision On Single Lane Bridge in Alnwick/Haldimand Township

When its only a one lane bridge, it was proven on Friday afternoon that vehicles travelling in the opposite direction cannot pass on the bridge simultaneously.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision in the hamlet of Burnley in Alnwick/Haldimand Township at approximately 4:45 p.m.

A pick-up hauling a trailer and a Hummer collided head-on on the single lane bridge.

No one was injured in the collision but both vehicle sustained heavy damage.

Unknown if there were any charges.
