Quinte West OPP – Workplace Accident Results in Death

On September 29, 2020 at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a Riverside Drive business in the City of Quinte West for the report of a workplace accident resulting in the death of an employee.

Colin HENNESSY, a 32 year old resident of Quinte West was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene.

The Ministry of Labour was notified and attended. The Ministry of Labour is continuing the investigation.
