Update – Northumberland OPP – Driver of Motorcycle in Critical Condition Following Collision on Highway 401

ALNWICK / HALDIMAND, ON – On July 20, 2020, at approximately 5:30 PM members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 401 east bound, east of Danforth Road. The driver of the motorcycle suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to the Northumberland Hills Hospital and was subsequently airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

OPP Central Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene and conducted an investigation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
