Northumberland OPP Requesting Assistance in Locating Missing Woman

Limited Ground Search Efforts Continue

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing female that was last seen on West Court near Sandy Bay Road in Roseneath.

Kristina ZUPANC is believed to be on foot and was last seen at approximately 10:30 pm on March 31, 2020. She is described as:

· 82 years of age
· 160 cm (5’3”)
· 47kg (105 lbs)
· Short, grey hair
· Wearing a light orange sweater, dark blue pants and white running shoes, a small gold necklace with pendant, gold watch on her left wrist and a plain gold band on her right index finger.
· She will not be dressed appropriately for cool weather conditions.

The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU), Canine Unit and Aviation Unit have conducted an exceptional and extensive search of the area but have not been able to locate the female. This investigation remains ongoing and a limited search continues to be conducted.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance and would ask that anyone who may have observed Kristina ZUPANC or if you know her current whereabouts to please contact the Northumberland OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
