Cobourg Police Investigating Assault

Cobourg Police responded to an alleged assault on John Street at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

The victim was bleeding on the west sidewalk on John Street, south of James Street.  There were reports the victim may have been unconscious.

Paramedics transported the victim to Northumberland Hills Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
