Cobourg Police – Female Arrested for Trespass by Night x 2 and Breach Probation x 2

On Sunday February 2nd, 2020, police conducted a proactive foot patrol in the downtown core in the early morning hours. Police observed an individual walking in the area of Ontario street and began to follow from a distance making observations. Police observed the individual attend to vehicles parked in the driveways of two separate residences on Ontario St. The vehicles were secured, and entry was not gained and police took the individual into custody.

On Sunday February 2nd, 2020, 33 year old Lindsay TURLAND of Cobourg was arrested and charged with two counts of trespass by night contrary to section 177 of the Criminal Code and two counts of Breach Probation contrary to section 733.1 of the Criminal Code.

The female was released on an Undertaking with a March 2020 court date.
