Cobourg Police – Fail to Comply with Recognizance/Fail to Comply with Probation

On Friday January 24th 2020 at 19:29hrs Police were dispatched to a store in the north west area of the Town of Cobourg regarding a theft in progress.

Police attended and through investigation learned the male was prohibited from being on the property.

Police arrested Abbas KHALEGHIPOUR, a 58-year-old male from Scarborough, ON and charged him with:

Fail to Comply with Recognizance – Contrary to Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada x 3

Fail to Comply with Probation – Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada x 6

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
