Delicious Dates Descends on Municipality of Port Hope

In Upcoming Events

This winter, venture out in Port Hope and celebrate local food at its best with Delicious Dates, a prix fixe menu offer available at 10 restaurant, pub, and café locations throughout the Municipality.

“The popular Delicious Dates program is a hit and a great way for locals and tourists alike to explore some of the wonderful businesses that we have here in the Municipality,” notes Les Andrews, Deputy Mayor and the Council Member responsible for the Community Development Department, where the program is being managed. “Municipal Staff continually strive to plan and host events and programs that meet the wants and needs of our residents, and that attracts tourists to our community. This event does just that, and we’re looking forward to the experience once again.”

The Municipality is working with business owners throughout the Municipality, in both Urban and Rural Port Hope, to host the annual event. The prix fixe menu options include both lunch and dinner offerings and range from $15 to $45 per person (+HST). This is a fantastic opportunity to visit Port Hope and explore what the Municipality has to offer, or, if you’re a local, to try out something new and sample the local fare. This opportunity is only available from January 24 until February 9, 2020.

Additional information is available on the Tourism website at visitporthope.ca/delicious-dates and through regular updates on the Delicious Dates Facebook event page.
