Update – County Road 2 Remains Closed Following Serious Collision Between Cobourg and Port Hope

County Road 2 between Cobourg and Port Hope remains closed following a serious collision on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were called to the scene, but there have been numerous motor vehicle collisions throughout this area of the Province.

Technical Traffic Collision Investigators or TTCI are highly trained at the reconstruction of motor vehicle collisions taking measurements of scenes, examining debris including skid marks piecing together what happened, weather conditions along with many other items that will help determine if charges are necessary.

It’s expected County Road 2 between Lovshin Road and Bob Carr Road will remain closed at least until 11 a.m.
