Quinte West OPP – Driver and Passenger Arrested After Collision

On December 15, 2019 at approximately 6:50 p.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Foxboro-Stirling Road in the City of Quinte West.

The investigation determined that the collision happened after an altercation between the occupants of two vehicles; this altercation then continued on the roadway after the collision. One of the original two parties brandished a weapon before the pair fled the scene prior to police arriving.

A short time later officers arrested two people at different locations. Jessica Dale GUEST, 23 years old of Trent Hills, Ontario, was arrested in the city of Quinte West and charged with:
Assault with a Weapon
Mischief Over $5000
Weapons Dangerous
The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice located in the city of Belleville on January 31, 2020.

Brady Robert John MARRISETT, 25 years old of Belleville, Ontario, was located and arrested in Campbellford, Ontario by Northumberland OPP and was charged with:
Dangerous Operation
Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
Fail to Remain
The accused’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice located in the city of Belleville on December 30, 2019.
