Community Responds Generously To Cobourg Police Cram-A-Cruiser

The Cobourg Police Services Cram-A-Cruiser Food Drive was held on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

The event took place at No Frills and Walmart in Cobourg and proceeds went to the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank and The Giving Tree at Northumberland Mall.

There were four members of Cobourg Police Auxiliary, three Special Constables, one officer, two Youth In Policing members and the Cobourg Police Chief who volunteered their services on Saturday at both locations.

Members of the community were extremely generous with a total of 5,778 pounds for the Food Bank and numerous toys donated. The total amount of funds collected has yet to be tallied.
