Victoria Park Campground Bookings for 2020 Begin

In City Hall

By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland
It’s got a blanket of snow just now, but the Victoria Park Campground will soon be fully booked for summer 2020 – a process that will begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 18.

The Town of Cobourg has issued an announcement from the Community Services Division that on-line reservation request forms will become available on that date and time at //cobourg.ca/campground.

This form will allow for up to four reservation requests, the press release said, including campsite preferences.

The on-line reservation request forms will be date- and time-stamped, to be processed by staff in chronological order. Please remember that all request forms must include a telephone number in order for staff to call and complete the reservation.

Campground staff will contact each applicant by phone, in order of submission, to establish the reservation and collect the administration fee. In the event an applicant cannot be reached, staff will review the “notes” section of the submitted form and offer the second-choice campsite, with an e-mail sent to confirm the booking.

Due to the high volume of requests coming in, applicants are reminded that it may take several days for staff to return your call.

For more information, call 905-372-2397 or e-mail campgroundinfo@cobourg.ca.
