Cobourg Police – Woman Charged with Theft

A woman has been charged with theft after police responded to a break and enter in progress.

On the 14th of November, at approx. 11:15 pm, Police attended a business in the downtown area after receiving a report of a break and enter in progress. A woman was located hiding nearby and an investigation revealed that she had stolen a quantity of clothing meant for donation from a donation bin.

33 year old Tiffany Bowen of Cobourg was charged with Theft under $5000 under Section 334(b), Possession of Stolen Property under Section 355(b), and two counts of Failing to comply with probation under Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code and was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions.
