Two Divisions of Northumberland Nighthawks Victorious In Justin Williams Cup

Northumberland Nighthawks were the winners of the Justin Williams Cup for Major Midget AA beating the Gloucester Rangers in the finals on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Cobourg Community Centre.

The final score of the game was 7-2.

First goal of the Nighthawks came at 8:22 of the second period scored unassisted by Ryland Upton.

At 7:26 of the second period Koby Read got the goal with an assist by Connor MacGregor.

At 6:00 of second period scored Josh Saint Hill got the first of his three goals of the game.

At 14:32 of the third period Avery Cook scored with an assist by Tyler Watson.

At 10:04 of the third Josh Saint Hill scored his second goal with assists by Ryland Upton and Connor MacGregor.

Josh Saint Hill notched his hat trick at 7:51 of the third period with an assist by Ryland Upton.

The final goal for the Nighthawks was scored at 7:14 of the third period by Clayton Farrow.

The Nighthawks were presented with the Justin Williams Cup and t-shirts.

 

 

Also the Northumberland Nighthawks Minor PeeWee AA came away winners in their division.

They were 4-1 winners over the Hillcrest Canadians.

It was a hard fought battle for the Canadians in the semi-finals coming away winners after a shootout with nine players per team against Belleville.
