Minor Injuries After Pickup and Camper Flip Over On Highway 401 East of Cobourg

Two people suffered minor injuries after a pickup truck and camper flipped over on Highway 401 east of Cobourg on Sunday, September 8, 2019.

Emergency services including Cobourg Fire Department, Hamilton Township Fire Department, Northumberland County Paramedics and Northumberland OPP were called to the area just east of Cobourg in the eastbound lanes at approximately 9 a.m. after the pickup rolled onto its roof and the camper on its side by the median wall.

The highway was closed for a brief period of time as the wreckage was removed.
