Cobourg Police – Female Arrested on Warrant and Charged With Possession of Narcotics

On the day of Sept 7th, 2019 at approximately 10:04 PM, police were conducting general patrol in the downtown area.

A female known by police to have an outstanding arrest warrant was located walking in the area. Police arrested 34 year old Michelle TOMLINSON of Cobourg on the strength of the warrant.

While conducting a search of TOMLINSON, she was found to be in possession of a quantity of narcotics. TOMLINSON was additionally charged with 2 counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Michelle TOMLINSON was released on a promise to appear and an Officer In Charge undertaking. She is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in October.
