Northumberland OPP – Firearms Stolen From Hamilton Township Residence

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the theft of three firearms and various other items that were stolen from a residence on Rice Lake Scenic Drive.

Between August 16 – 22, 2019 unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence and stole three firearms, a decorative 18 inch machete, jewellery, collector coins, a camouflage coloured buck knife and various other house hold items.

The firearms are described as :

· 12 gauge pump action shot gun
o Make – Mossberg
o Model – 535ATS
o Serial number- AT082950
o Colour- Camouflage

· (Two) – 50 calibre muzzleloader rifles
o Make – CVA
o Model – Optima
o Serial numbers – 611302431506 / 611301948506
o Colour – Camouflage with nickel plated barrels, equipped with black scopes

The Northumberland OPP is seeking the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact their nearest OPP Detachment at 1 888-310-1122.
