Full Context Of E-Mail Thread With PSB Chair Now Posted

In Editorial

Since it’s inception Today’s Northumberland has taken pride in being transparent in covering the news.

On July 19, Today’s Northumberland attended a Police Services Board hearing at Venture 13.

After that there was a series of e-mails from the Board Chair and Today’s Northumberland.

We weren’t aware until being notified on the day of the meeting by someone who was attending.  Part of the e-mails were posted on the agenda of the Police Services Board.

We say “part” of the e-mails because they were only the e-mails from Today’s Northumberland and none of the e-mails from the Chair were posted.

Today’s Northumberland has worked diligently to make sure the entire thread of e-mails were posted so the public can get a clear understanding of the context.

On August 22, 2019, the full e-mail thread was posted and the link is below.
