Northumberland OPP – Break and Enter In Brighton

On July 27, 2019 members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Rosslyn Drive for a report of break and enter.

Between 3:45 am and 8:30 pm suspect(s) entered the home through a rear basement window which was found by the homeowner to have been broken. The home had been rummaged through and left in a state of disarray. The suspect(s) are believed to have exited the home through the rear patio door.

Several valuable items such as jewellery and cash have been reported as stolen.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
