Municipality of Port Hope to Host Expo to Showcase Municipal Departments and Resident Services, May 28

Thursday, May 23, 2019 – Port Hope, ON

Members of the media and the community are invited and encouraged to attend the Municipality of Port Hope Expo taking place on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Jack Burger Sports Complex.

Municipal Council and Staff will be on hand to highlight the various resident services available to the community and answer questions about each municipal department. Fire and Emergency Services will have a fire truck on the arena floor for kids to explore and Mayor Sanderson will discuss the new Strategic Plan.

The Municipal Expo will also include representation from the Port Hope Police Service and the Port Hope Public Library. Additionally, Northumberland County Waste Management representatives will be on hand to provide information about the rollout of the dual-stream recycling and green bin program.
