Nighthawks Win Game One Of The Minor Midget AA OMHA Championships

It was a dramatic overtime win as the Northumberland Nighthawks scored in overtime to take game one of the Minor Midget AA OMHA Championships on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
The Northumberland Nighthawks are up against Belle River Canadians in the finals with the first game playing at the Jack Burger Sports Complex with Northumberland taking it in overtime with a score of 3-2.
Tanner Smith got the overtime goal at 8:06 in overtime with the assist by Colton McCurdy.
In the first period Nighthawks Isaac MacLeod scored at 13:25 with assists by Joshua Goold and Nolan Ring.
In the second period Michael Patrick scored at 10:54 with assists by Ryan Crowley and Isaac MacLeod.
The next two games are in Belle River this coming weekend.
