A visit to Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto is almost a must throughout the March break.
With children 12 and under riding the GO train for free, it was an easy decision to take the train.
For an adult it costs just under $23.00 and the nice benefit is you can take the GO train from Oshawa now.
The only complaint is that it takes roughly an hour by train from Oshawa to Union Station because of multiple stops.
Having been to the aquarium multiple times over the years its been open and for those who haven’t been, the later you go, the better.
Most times the aquarium is open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., but if you’re going a distance to visit, I’d suggest making sure it is open as sometimes it’s booked and closed to members of the public. We found out that the hard way one time coming from Cobourg.
I’d also strongly suggest if the kids can stand the late nights, go after 7 p.m., it’s cheaper and less crowded. The later you go, the better because there is less people there.
For the annual pass of an adult and youth it costs approximately $150 and honestly I think it’s worth it, especially now with riding the GO train.
