Update – Driver Charged Following Rollover In Port Hope

UPDATE – On March 16, 2019 just after 6:00 pm police responded to a single vehicle collision on County Road 10 south of Ganaraska Road in the Municipality of Port Hope involving a green Honda sedan. The vehicle was reported to have left the roadway, striking a ditch causing the vehicle to rollover. No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision. Joseph MORE (age 36) of Port Hope, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – opioid (other than heroin)

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Cobourg court on April 10, 2019.

One person was taken into custody after a single vehicle rollover on County Road 10 just south of Ganaraska Road in Port Hope on March 16, 2019.

Shortly after 6 p.m. members of the Port Hope Fire Department, Northumberland County Paramedics and Northumberland OPP responded to the scene.

It appears the vehicle was traveling north, lost control entered the west ditch, hit a culvert, went airborne and landed upright.  The lone occupant was not hurt and taken into custody at the scene.

No word on charges
