Collision Results in Impaired Charges
The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 45 at Woodland Road in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
At approximately 4:40 pm police received a report of a black Chevrolet SUV that was travelling southbound on County Road 45 had driven off the highway into the north side ditch. Officers found the female driver to be uninjured and under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investiga tion Alisha Lesley BRYAN (age 41) of Oshawa, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on April 17, 2019.
