Campbellford Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Kathleen Katipunan to their roster of visiting specialists.
Beginning March 6, Dr. Katipunan will hold a monthly clinic for patients referred to her by a primary care physician. She is able to assess a variety of skin conditions, perform biopsies and minor skin procedures. The hospital’s latest addition means better access to specialized care.
Dr. Katipunan is currently based in Peterborough at the SKiN Centre for Dermatology. She received her medical degree from the College of Medicine & Surgery, University of Santo Tomas – Manila, Philippines. From 2013-2017 she was a Resident physician in the Dermatology Program at the University of Toronto, receiving her formal specialist designation from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2017. She is a member of various professional dermatological societies and has published a number of research papers.
Appointments for consultations will be received by the Bookings Office at CMH, through referrals from a family physician.
